Christina Brousseau, Director/Lead Teacher

Christina has over 12 years of teaching experience. She has been teaching at the preschool level for the last 8 years. Christina has many years of experience working with kindergarten, first and second grade classes. She also has experience working in the ASD classroom and sub separate social emotional/ learning center classrooms. Having earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Elementary Education from Bridgewater State University, and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from American International College, she has a wealth of knowledge that helps her excel in this role. When she is not in the classroom you can find her at the beach, spending time with her family or reading. 

Sheri O'Malley.fw

Sheri O’Malley, Teacher

After receiving her BFA with a minor in Education at UMASS Amherst, Mrs. O’Malley relocated to Maryland, where she founded and developed a kindergarten enrichment program for the Montgomery County Schools. She also spent time teaching kindergarten in Maine, and then relocated to Falmouth, where she began her teaching career on the Cape at Teaticket Elementary School. She first served as a substitute teacher and then specialized in MCAS tutoring. She has been a part of the West Falmouth Preschool community since 2008.

Brenna Oberton

Brenna Oberton, Teacher

Brenna has over 15 years of experience teaching and caring for children in various early childhood settings, including preschools, kindergarten, day cares, camps and as a nanny. She is EEC Lead Teacher qualified and earned an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. She is also a mom to four children, and a West Falmouth Preschool Alum. Her favorite hobby is reading, and she loves to read books to the preschoolers and help them learn pre-literacy skills that will someday help them enjoy reading on their own. 

Sarah Richards

Sarah Richards, Music and Movement Teacher

Sarah has her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music Education from The University of Massachusetts in Amherst. She also holds certifications in Orff Scheulwerk (levels 1,2,&3), Conversational Solfege (1&2), as well as two early childhood music education certifications (First Steps in Music, Music Together). While her primary instrument of focus was flute, she has always sang and pursued opportunities to sing in college (chorale, voice studio, musical theater, all-female a capella group Six Minutes) and beyond. Before moving to the Cape, Sarah taught general music and chorus in the Berlin/Boylston Public Schools for ten years. She founded and directed two musical theater programs in the district, and taught private voice and flute lessons. Sarah was also a proud member of Millenium Magic Chorus, an all-female internationally competing barbershop chorus based out of Sturbridge Ma. During her time there, the chorus earned first and second place international titles. Since moving to the Cape, Sarah has been active at Cape Cod Church as a lead and supporting vocalist on Sunday mornings. She now shares her passion for music and early childhood education with her own children, and the West Falmouth Preschool community.
